What is Embrapa?

Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation). Federal research agency under the Ministry of Agriculture that publishes research on coconut production, husk processing, coir fiber properties and substrate formulation. Embrapa’s work on green coconut husk utilization is particularly relevant to the Brazilian coir industry.
